GEM Robotics
GEM Robotics was a mechatronics student group funded in 2013 to develop mobile robots using open source technology while researching autonomous navigation techniques following an event-trigger approach in unknown environments. GEM robotics had the following milestones:
- Winner of the Roborave Colombia 2013 in the Fire Fighting challenge
- Winner of the Roborave International 2014 in the Fire Fighting challenge
- Orquidea de Oro Award, Technological merit, 2014
